Reviews of wines and beers and etc that I've tried - just my personal notes
too slight. not great for a steak. too thin and flavor one dimensional
$9.99 @ Astor
delicious! dry and extremely aromatic. taste not too slight.
$7.99 @ Astor
wow! it's tasty. extremely easy to drink, especially by itself (not as much a food wine). but the tetrapack is great and convenient, and the wine follows.

Red, France Vin de Pays
food friendly red wine - just enough tannins, acid but a thin mouth feel and just slightly boring. good to have around perhaps
$4.99 @ Astor
used as cooking wine in fondue -- waaay too acidic. just didn't go well
extremely sparky by itself. light and refreshing, could be quite good on a hot day.

complex and delicious - musty, full of flavour.
it was 5.99 or something at tj's
i did not like. it's got a little bit of the jammy raisin thing going on - too sweet. in fact, really just overpoweringly sweet
3.99 at tj's - really can't argue with that price
it's not a bad pinotage. one-note, but it's not a bad note. not as "rustic" as i like my pinotages, but it works just fine
also, my first 2009. oof
